Apple code reveals details and images of HomePod mini 2, iPad mini 8 and Apple TV 4K — The Verge

Apple code has revealed details and images that may relate to the HomePod mini 2, iPad mini 8, and a new Apple TV 4K. They were found by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris, The Verge reports.

New HomePod mini colors

According to the leak, the HomePod mini 2 will retain the design of the first model, which was introduced in late 2020. In the published images, the speaker is shown in green, pink, blue, white, and black. These shades appear more subdued than the current bright HomePod mini options, which include orange, yellow, and blue.

iPad mini camera and Apple TV

The iPad mini 8 is said to replace the seventh-generation model released two years ago. The tablet may receive the A20 Pro processor, already used in the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and foldable iPhone Duo, instead of the A17 Pro.

The images show only the front of the device. The front-facing camera has been moved to the tablet’s long edge for use in landscape orientation. At the same time, a slot at the top of the display, similar to an element on the iPhone, may indicate an additional speaker.

Earlier, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that the next iPad mini could also receive improved water resistance thanks to a vibration-based speaker and an OLED display similar to the screen of higher-end iPad Pro models. The leak reveals almost no specifications of the new Apple TV 4K: it only points to a design very similar to the previous version, which is nearly four years old.
