Members of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the police will receive up to 460,000 hryvnias per month
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vygivsky signed orders establishing the procedure for paying additional bonuses to servicemembers of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and special-purpose police officers. The documents were adopted as part of a pilot project on incentive payments.
According to the minister, the new mechanism will allow service members performing combat missions to receive up to 460,000 UAH per month, depending on the complexity and danger of the mission and the results of their combat operations.
Specifically, payments of up to 100,000 UAH are provided for direct participation in combat operations, 170,000 UAH for carrying out tasks on the front lines, 70,000 UAH for work in other sectors of the front, 50,000 UAH for service at command posts, as well as between 15,000 and 30,000 UAH for instructors. In addition, service members will be eligible to receive 40,000 UAH per day for capturing enemy positions, 20,000 UAH for recapturing lost positions, 100,000 UAH for each captured occupier, and 15,000 UAH for eliminating an enemy in rifle or hand-to-hand combat.
Vygivsky noted that the orders are already undergoing state registration. Once they take effect, payments will be retroactively calculated starting June 1, 2026.
