Zaluzhny's brother reported millions in income, a subsidy, and a residence in Belgium
Artur Zaluzhny, the brother of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and current Ambassador to the United Kingdom, has published his income declaration for 2025.
According to the document, his total annual income exceeded 5.2 million hryvnias, while he officially received a state subsidy and social benefits.
The bulk of Artur Zaluzhny’s income consists of military pay, which amounts to over 1.2 million hryvnias.
In addition, he received over 4 million UAH from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine as compensation payments in foreign currency during his long-term overseas assignment.
Despite his substantial wealth, the declaration shows that he received 20,916 UAH in subsidies and 1,200 UAH in social benefits.
The family’s financial assets are held in both Ukrainian and foreign banks. In Belgium, Artur Zaluzhnyy holds 35,000 euros in accounts and 20,000 euros in cash, while over 766,000 UAH is held in Ukrainian financial institutions.
These savings indicate the stable financial condition of the family, which currently resides outside Ukraine.
An interesting detail in the document is the possession of diplomatic passports by the declarant himself and his family members.
Although Artur Zaluzhny is listed as a military officer, the possession of such documents is typically characteristic of Foreign Ministry employees or high-ranking officials.
Previously, media reports suggested he might be appointed as an advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but the report does not include any payments from that agency.
Regarding real estate and property, the Zaluzhny Jr. family has been renting a private home in Belgium since May 2025. In Kyiv, they use government-provided housing, as provided for by his status as a military servicemember.
Artur Zaluzhny also owns a 2023 Volvo XC60, purchased in the spring of 2024 for nearly 1.8 million hryvnias.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy leads in the presidential ratings, followed by Zaluzhny.
