Part of Odesa was left without power due to an accident at the thermal power plant

An emergency occurred at the Odesa Thermal Power Plant, leaving customers in the central part of the city, as well as several transportation companies, without power.

“Utility workers are currently working to restore power.

The estimated time for completion of the work is by the end of the day,” the city hall stated.

The city council emphasized that the situation is under control and that local authorities are in constant contact with utility services to resolve the issue promptly.

Meanwhile, work continues in the Odesa region to address the aftermath of Russian attacks. Specifically, on June 21, the occupiers struck civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the region.

In the Izmail district, residential areas were damaged as a result of the enemy attack. The strike caused a fire in a private residential building and an outbuilding, which rescue workers quickly extinguished.

This was reported by the city council.

As a reminder, following another combined Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of June 15, some residents of the capital were left without power. According to preliminary data, more than 100,000 customers were left without power. Utility workers are working to restore power and address the consequences of the Russian shelling.

As a reminder, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, causing a fire.

Prior to that, Russian cruise missiles struck the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in injuries.

Five State Emergency Service rescuers were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
