Four traitors were sentenced to 15 years in prison for fighting against Ukraine
A court sentenced four more citizens who fought on the side of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian Armed Forces to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the convicts were captured during battles in the Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and Orikhiv areas.
Among them is a resident of occupied Mariupol who joined a Russian armed unit as a sniper in 2024 and participated in assaults near Pokrovsk.
The other convicts, according to the SBU, joined Russian army units in the temporarily occupied city of Makiivka or after traveling to Russian territory, after which they participated in hostilities against Ukraine.
The court found them guilty of treason and collaboration.

Earlier in Kyiv, the director of a charitable organization took money to purchase a car for a Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemember but did not buy the vehicle. The woman will be tried for fraud.
