A sharp drop in temperatures accompanied by rain is approaching Kyiv
Despite the pleasant weather on September 11, forecasters are warning of a cold front approaching Kyiv. The weather is expected to deteriorate, with rain reaching the capital in the coming days.
On Friday, September 11, Kyiv will see dry and pleasant weather with temperatures up to +24, but meteorologists are warning of a cold snap this weekend.
According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, on September 11, the capital will see comfortable weather with temperatures reaching +23 degrees. No significant precipitation is expected. At the same time, Didenko warns that Kyiv will see heavy rain on Saturday, especially in the morning. In addition, it will be cool—the high will be only +14…+15 degrees Celsius.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center forecasts variable cloud cover in the Kyiv region on September 11.
The wind will be from the northwest, blowing at a speed of 5–10 m/s. Daytime air temperatures across the region will range from +20 to +25 degrees Celsius, while in the capital, temperatures are expected to range from +22 to +24 degrees Celsius.
The weather portal Sinoptik reports that the weather in Kyiv will be overcast throughout the day. No precipitation is expected. Daytime temperatures will range from +21 to +23 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, meteorologists are warning of a significant drop in temperatures in the region on September 12. Air temperatures will range from +13 to +15 degrees Celsius.
“Cloudy weather will persist in Kyiv until the evening. Rain is expected throughout the day. It will be heaviest in the morning and will gradually ease off as the day progresses,” forecasters predict.
