Dubinsky has been charged with treason; the case has been referred to court
Last week, MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, a former member of the “Servant of the People” faction, was served with another charge of treason. The charge relates to the dissemination of narratives that, according to the investigation, could have benefited Russia. According to law enforcement officials, the new charges in the case pertain to his public statements and informational activities.
This was reported with reference to "Sudovy Reporter."
It is also reported that the court is considering transferring Dubinsky to a correctional facility located closer to the border with Russia. The final decision on this matter is to be made by the court.
New Case and New Motion for Pretrial Detention
In the motion for pretrial detention in the new case, the SBI investigator requests that Dubinsky be held not at the Kyiv Detention Center, but at Mena Correctional Colony No. 91 in the Chernihiv region, where convicted prisoners serve their sentences.

Center “According to available operational data, Dubinsky has established off-duty (friendly) relationships with certain, currently unidentified employees of the detention center’s security department and guard staff, who assist Dubinsky in communicating with other convicts (inmates) by organizing joint walks for them and allowing them to spend time together during hygiene procedures (showers, bathhouse). It has also been established that Dubinsky systematically contacts detainees Roman Volodymyrovych Dudin and Oleg Mykolayovych Kulynich, who are suspected of committing crimes against the foundations of national security," wrote Vladimir Kibkal, acting deputy head of the Kyiv Pretrial Detention Center, in a letter to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) investigator.
