Former head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs has been placed under preventive measures for providing false information in his declaration
The court has ordered Roman Isaienko, the former head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, to post bail in the amount of 66,560 UAH.
This is reported in a Bihus.Info post on Telegram.
The individual, who is a subject of two Bihus.Info investigations, has been ordered not to leave the territory of Kyiv and the region without proper authorization, to surrender his foreign passports, and to refrain from communicating with witnesses. Bihus.Info reports this, citing the court’s decision regarding the former official, who is accused of providing false information in his official declaration.
The reason for the court proceedings was a house in Novi Bezradychi near Kyiv, which had previously been featured in a journalistic investigation. The investigation confirmed that despite the property being registered in the names of Isaenko’s father-in-law and mother-in-law, it was actually used by him and his wife. Since this information was not reflected in the official’s financial disclosure, law enforcement classified the former agency head’s actions as a violation of anti-corruption legislation. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances surrounding the concealment of assets by the former civil servant’s family.
As a reminder, the former head of the Zolotonosha police declared a Tesla worth 1.7 million UAH with an annual income of 484,000 UAH.
Additionally, NABU plans to complete the “Midas” investigation by the end of summer.
