The EU will fund the modernization of military training ranges in Ukraine
The European Union will fund the modernization of military training grounds and training facilities in Ukraine using additional funds from member states.
This was announced by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas following an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in Wicklow, where Ireland also announced the allocation of additional funding.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed the future of the EUMAM training mission and plans to establish a coordination center in Kyiv to strengthen military education and the operational integration of battlefield experience. Kallas also noted the active development of defense-industrial cooperation, within which more than 120 partnerships between Ukrainian and European companies are already in place.
