The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the appointment of Tetiana Filevska as Deputy Minister of Culture.

Filevska previously served as Creative Director of the Ukrainian Institute.

"Tetyana will be responsible for international cooperation, cultural diplomacy, and the development of creative industries. She has been working in the cultural sector for over twenty years, implementing international cultural projects, researching Ukrainian art—particularly the legacy of Kazimir Malevich—and developing Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy around the world,” Berezhna wrote on Facebook.

According to her, prior to this, Filevska served as creative director of the Ukrainian Institute and has worked at the Mystetskyi Arsenal, the IZOLYATSIA Platform for Cultural Initiatives, the EIDOS Contemporary Art Foundation, and other cultural institutions.

Berezhna added that the team of deputies to the Minister of Culture is now fully formed.

"There is a lot of work ahead of us—from developing cultural diplomacy and international partnerships to protecting cultural heritage, digitizing culture, and supporting Ukrainian artists, cultural institutions, and creative entrepreneurship," she wrote.

In addition to the newly appointed Filevska, Berezhna’s deputies include Yevhen Lavrov, Bohdana Laiuk, Anastasia Bondar, and Nataliia Movshovych, as well as First Deputy Ivan Verbytskyi and State Secretary of the Ministry Volodymyr Levchuk.

This was reported byDeputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna.

As a reminder, on June 5, a draft resolution “On Parliamentary Support for the Negotiation Process on Ukraine’s Membership in the European Union” was registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a decision on tax exemptions for military equipment. In particular, the supply of ground-based robotic systems to the Defense Forces has been exempted from VAT. This is expected to accelerate the provision of equipment to the army for evacuating the wounded and carrying out reconnaissance missions.
