Unstable weather is expected in Ukraine on Wednesday, June 17
On Wednesday, June 17, Ukraine is expected to experience unsettled weather with variable cloud cover, though forecasters do not predict extreme heat.
In most regions of the country, with the exception of the southern and southeastern parts, there will be brief showers during the day, with thunderstorms in some areas.
No precipitation is expected overnight across the entire country. Current weather conditions in the country will be determined by a low-pressure system.
“From a cyclone centered north of Ukraine,” explained experts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Atmospheric pressure values themselves will undergo only minor fluctuations in the near future. The change in the synoptic situation is associated with the movement of new air masses.
“Moist, cool air masses will reach us with westerly and northwesterly flows, which will determine the corresponding weather,” stated the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The wind will be predominantly westerly throughout the day, with speeds ranging from 5 to 10 meters per second.
Temperatures across the regions will remain quite comfortable. At night, temperatures in Ukraine will drop to +9…+14 °C, while it will be slightly warmer along the coast—up to +17 °C.
During the day, the air will warm up to an average of +19…+24 °C, while in the southern regions, higher temperatures are traditionally expected—from +23 to +28 °C. In the capital and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness will also persist on June 17.
Tonight, the region will be dry, but on Wednesday afternoon, brief showers accompanied by thunderstorms are possible in some areas.
The speed of the westerly wind in the capital region will not exceed a moderate 5–10 meters per second.

Weather forecast for June 3 for Ukraine and Kyiv
