The Cabinet of Ministers has begun preparing the 2027 state budget
Official preparations for the 2027 state budget have begun in Ukraine. The government has identified the document’s key objectives and set a deadline for ministries to submit their proposals.
“Ministries must prepare proposals regarding the document’s main parameters as soon as possible, by July 31,” he emphasized.
The Prime Minister noted that the government’s main task is to submit the final draft of the state budget to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration within the timeframe clearly defined by law, namely by September 15.
According to Koretsky, the new document will be structured around three key national priorities:
strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities;
ensuring financial stability;
implementing a well-thought-out social policy.
This was reported with reference to a statement by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.
Koretskyi wants to tighten control over the Cabinet’s work.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is reportedly considering replacing Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. This was reported by the Financial Times, citing a senior official in the Office of the President whose name was not disclosed.
