Ukraine received nearly $690 million from the IMF

The Ukrainian state budget has received a second tranche from the International Monetary Fund in the amount of approximately $690 million as part of a new four-year cooperation program.

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi announced the receipt of the funds. According to him, the funds have already been credited to the state budget.

The funds are planned to be used to support the country’s macrofinancial stability and finance priority government expenditures.

Ukraine expects to receive approximately $690 million from the International Monetary Fund. The funds are expected to arrive in the coming days.

The IMF will consider a review of the program for Ukraine in the coming weeks.
