The death toll from Russia's massive strike on the Kyiv region has risen to nine people
A man who sustained severe injuries during a nighttime attack by Russian forces on the Kyiv region on July 6 has died in the hospital. As a result, the total number of fatalities from this shelling has risen to nine.
This was reported by Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that medical personnel fought to save the wounded man’s life until the very end, but were unable to save him due to his critical condition.

As a reminder, on the night of July 6, Russian occupation forces carried out another massive combined attack on the capital and the Kyiv region using strike drones and various types of missiles, which led to significant destruction of civilian infrastructure, particularly in the town of Vyshneve, where approximately 200 facilities were damaged.
Zelenskyy expects the SBU to conduct a detailed investigation into what happened in Vyshneve.
Following the Russian strike on Vyshneve, which led to a massive fire, repeated explosions, and the evacuation of residents, public calls have intensified for an investigation into the location of potentially dangerous facilities near residential areas.
