The Kyiv region received more than 33 metric tons of power generation equipment from Lithuania and Finland

A total of 33.6 metric tons of power equipment, supplied by Lithuania and Finland, was delivered to critical infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region.

The power equipment was delivered from the Ministry of Energy’s hub warehouses to critical infrastructure facilities in the region.

“In particular, the region received over 11 metric tons of power equipment from the Lithuanian company Litgrid AB, which includes, among other things, transformers of various voltages. Nearly 22 metric tons of equipment were also delivered by the Finnish company Fingrid Oyj, the statement said.

The equipment also includes diesel generators and sets of circuit breakers.

The Ministry of Energy noted that the equipment received should help energy workers in the Kyiv region prepare for the fall and winter.

The donated equipment will strengthen the capacity of critical infrastructure facilities and ensure their readiness for potential challenges during the heating season.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions have received new shipments of critically important energy equipment from Lithuania. The aid is intended to strengthen the resilience of the Ukrainian power grid and facilitate the rapid restoration of damaged networks.

As a reminder, Serbia will provide Ukraine with a new package of humanitarian aid. It will include support in the fields of medicine and energy.
