The funds from the National Cashback Program must be used by June 30; otherwise, they will be returned to the budget

Ukrainians must use the funds accumulated on their "National Cashback" program cards by June 30, 2026, inclusive; otherwise, any unused balances will be returned to the state budget.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The ministry clarified that cashback for April will be credited at the end of May, and these funds must also be spent by the end of June. Meanwhile, compensation for purchases made in May will be paid out in July.

The program itself will continue to operate without changes, and payments for subsequent periods will be made according to the usual schedule after the 20th of each month.

The “National Cashback” program was launched in September 2024, and since March 2026, it has been operating under an updated model. The compensation rate is 15% for certain categories of Ukrainian goods with a high import share and 5% for segments where domestic producers already hold strong market positions.

Separately, a fuel cashback program is in effect through the end of May, offering compensation ranging from 5% to 15% of the cost at participating gas stations.

Accumulated funds can be used to pay for utilities and postal services, purchase medicines, books, and Ukrainian-made products, as well as for charity and support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
