Lubinec claimed that his representative was being harassed by the Transcarpathian Territorial Election Commission
Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, stated that the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support intends to fabricate criminal charges against his regional representative, Andriy Kryuchkov, who exposed numerous violations committed by military personnel.
According to the ombudsman, Andriy Kryuchkov is set to be charged under Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for allegedly obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Dmytro Lubinets emphasized that he considers these actions to be direct pressure and interference in the institution’s work, and also publicized a series of violations that occurred during mobilization in recent weeks, including the death of a conscript six days after being drafted in the Odesa region, people being admitted to intensive care units and psychiatric hospitals after undergoing medical examinations, and the beating of a 17-year-old teenager during his father’s mobilization in Zhytomyr.
The Ombudsman emphasized that mobilization does not give anyone the right to violate the law or human dignity, and that attempts to exert pressure will not force the institution to stop exposing violations.
The Ombudsman announced this in an official statement on Facebook.
Earlier, Lubinets reported that there were hundreds of hostages at the Berehove Territorial Recruitment Center.
Following this, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported on orchestrated information attacks against the Ombudsman’s Office and himself personally after violations were uncovered during inspections of the TCC and the Joint Commission in Zakarpattia Oblast. According to him, instead of addressing the violations, “activists” began a coordinated effort to discredit the results of the monitoring visits.
