A man died during a medical examination in the Dnipropetrovsk region
A man died in the Dnipropetrovsk region while undergoing a military medical examination. The Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support reported that an internal investigation has been launched into the incident.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support announced this on Facebook.
It is noted that on May 5, during a check of military registration documents, a task force consisting of representatives from the district recruitment center, social support services, and the National Police stopped a man subject to military service who had violated military registration rules and was subject to conscription.
While undergoing the medical examination, the conscript fell ill. An ambulance was called for him.
The medics who arrived on the scene provided emergency care to the man for 45 minutes, after which they pronounced him dead.
“The leadership and personnel of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office are providing comprehensive assistance to law enforcement agencies and cooperating with the investigation,” the agency stated.
It is noted that an internal investigation has been launched and a criminal case has been opened.
