A priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church—Moscow Patriarchate was mobilized in the Khmelnytskyi region
In the Khmelnytskyi region, Vasyl Lisovyi, a cleric and protopresbyter of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, was mobilized.
This information was confirmed by the regional territorial center for recruitment and social support.
According to the Khmelnytskyi Diocese of the UOC-MP, the priest was detained on July 22 in Khmelnytskyi. After undergoing a military medical examination, he was assigned to one of the territorial defense units.
The Khmelnytskyi Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center reported that Vasyl Lisovyi had no legal grounds for deferment from mobilization. He is currently undergoing military training and instruction.
