Part of the Sumy region is without power. This is due to weather conditions as well as shelling from the Russian Federation.

It is noted that a large-scale power outage affected consumers in the northern part of the Sumy region as a result of the Russian attack.
Additionally, strong gusts of wind have damaged power lines and cut off power to consumers in the Seredyna-Budka, Bilopil, Konotop, Romny, Krasnopil, Krolevets, and Yampil communities.
As of the morning of April 28, more than 10,000 electricity consumers remain without power due to the severe weather.
Recently, Russia attacked Sumy with drones; children were among the wounded.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 725 strikes on 39 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were killed and ten others were injured as a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
