In Vinnytsia Oblast, civilians attacked members of the Territorial Defense Forces during an emergency alert
On March 31, an incident occurred between civilians and members of the alert group in the village of Sosonka, Vinnytsia Oblast.
This was reported by the Vinnytsia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.
According to the Vinnytsia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, during the conduct of alert drills, one of the citizens, upon seeing the military personnel, attempted to flee. At the same time, another man came out of a private residence and threw a rock at a military vehicle, shattering the window. He was joined by other civilians who caused a commotion and attempted to use physical force against the military personnel, as well as repeatedly tried to damage the military vehicle.
It is known that the participants in the conflict ignored the military’s lawful demands. Information regarding possible casualties is being verified.
The agency emphasized that unidentified individuals deliberately escalated the situation during the incident, spread destructive messages, and promoted the aggressor country’s narratives with the aim of sowing division in society. The attackers’ actions may constitute serious crimes under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Vinnytsia Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support emphasizes that any interference with mobilization activities and the use of force against military personnel while they are performing their duties entails criminal liability.
Earlier, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support launched an internal investigation into the use of a weapon by a military servicemember.
As a reminder, in Odesa, a TCC vehicle struck a pedestrian; the woman was hospitalized.
Additionally, a woman from Kyiv was mistakenly registered for military service and placed on a wanted list.
