A number of trains are delayed due to a person being injured in Brovary
On Monday, 6 April, due to an emergency situation on the railway, some suburban and regional trains in the Kyiv region are running behind schedule. According to available information, a person was injured at Brovary station, which led to temporary restrictions on train movement in this section.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Investigative actions are currently underway at the scene, after which train traffic will be fully restored.
Current delays as of now:
No. 6906 Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi – Nizhyn: delayed by 35 minutes;
No. 6908 Kyiv – Nizhyn: delayed from Darnytsia, running 30 minutes behind schedule;
No. 892/891 (regional train) Motovylivka – Slavutych: delayed by approximately 25 minutes.
Passengers are advised to closely follow announcements at stations and plan their time taking into account changes to the timetable.
It is worth recalling that on 2 April in the Kharkiv region, a passenger train collided with a lorry near Kolomak station. According to preliminary reports, there were no injuries among passengers. Due to the accident, some services have been delayed and rerouted.
Additionally, due to the security situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region, routes for a number of trains towards Kryvyi Rih have been changed since 3 April.
Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing four additional services and extending one long-distance route to Yaremche due to increased passenger demand.
