Ukrainian actor Oleksii Trytenko received an award from Syrskyi for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, awarded Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksii Trytenko the military decoration “Golden Cross.” The actor, who has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, received the award for courage and the performance of combat missions.
Well-known Ukrainian actor and serviceman Oleksii Trytenko received the honorary award from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. The award was given for his service to the Ukrainian people and participation in combat operations on the front line. Trytenko was awarded the “Golden Cross” badge, which is given to enlisted and non-commissioned officers for demonstrated courage and effective performance of duties in combat conditions.
In the award document, which the actor published on his Instagram, it states: “In the name of the Ukrainian people, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has the honor to award Junior Sergeant Oleksii Trytenko the ‘Golden Cross.’” The actor briefly responded: “I serve the Ukrainian people!”
Oleksii Trytenko serves in the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion and continues his service alongside his creative career.
Previously, the actor also commented on public attention to the fact that he combines military service with work in the theater, emphasizing that he remains an active serviceman under a Ministry of Defense order and has been fulfilling his duty since the beginning of the war.
