The first families have completed construction of their homes under the e-Recovery program

The first five families have already completed the construction of single-family homes on their own plots of land using state compensation funds under the “eRecovery” program. These homes will be put into use in the near future.

The Ministry of Community Development, Infrastructure, and Transport noted that these are the first fully completed housing reconstruction projects under the program for owners of destroyed homes.

"Five private homes, built on their own plots of land using state compensation funds, are now ready for occupancy. Four of them are in the Kyiv region, and one is in the Kharkiv region,” the press service stated in a Telegram post on Tuesday.

It is reported that the total amount of compensation for their reconstruction is 12.2 million hryvnias.

It is noted that the opportunity to rebuild one’s own home on one’s own land plot is one of the key components of the eVidnovuvannya program. This helps Ukrainian families return home and rebuild their lives. Since the program began in April 2025, 1,185 compensation payments for the construction of new homes have already been approved. Of these, 820 families received the first tranche totaling 983.7 million hryvnias, and 432 families received the second tranche totaling 543.6 million hryvnias.

As previously reported, owners of completely destroyed private homes can choose one of two compensation options: receive a housing certificate to purchase a new home or funds to build a new home on their own land plot.

This was reported by the Ministry’s press service.

Payments under the e-Recovery program for IDPs from the occupied territories have begun.
