Near Lutsk, a military police officer and a man got into a fight on the roof of a building

In the village of Strumivka, near Lutsk, a high-profile incident occurred involving representatives of the regional recruitment center and a civilian man.

The conflict, which was accompanied by threats to use weapons, ended with both participants falling from the roof of a building.

The incident began during a routine public alert when a group of military personnel and police officers spotted a suspicious vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle ignored the order to stop and attempted to flee the checkpoint, but later abandoned the car.

While fleeing from law enforcement, the man ran onto the grounds of a private residence and climbed onto the roof of the house.

Once up high, he began calling for help due to his fear of heights, but at the same time categorically refused to communicate with the military personnel.

To get the fugitive down from the building, he was given a ladder, which he initially pulled up to himself.

Video footage from eyewitnesses shows one of the soldiers threatening to shoot the man in the legs and making threats toward the people filming the incident.

Later, a TCC employee climbed onto the roof to force the man to come down, but a scuffle broke out between them.

As a result of the physical altercation, both men lost their balance and fell to the ground, which was captured on the mobile phones of witnesses.

The Volyn Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Forces officially commented on the situation, noting that the man had deliberately avoided meeting with the military.

As it turned out later, he is wanted for violating military registration rules, which was the motive for his dangerous escape attempt.

Despite the significant height of the fall, the civilian man did not sustain serious bodily injuries.

Immediately after the incident, the detainee was taken to the district Military Registration and Enlistment Office to undergo a military medical examination and further investigation into the circumstances of his being wanted.
