Weather in Ukraine on April 16: Warmer weather is expected in Kyiv
Weather forecaster Natalka Didenko predicts a true spring idyll for Ukraine on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
According to her, weather conditions will be as comfortable as possible: daytime warmth will be combined with pleasant nighttime coolness, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and sleep.
The maximum air temperature during the day will range from +12 to +19 degrees. It will be warmest in the southern and central regions, where sunny weather will allow people to fully enjoy spring.
“In the east, the southern part, and most central regions, it will be dry and sunny. But in the west, the north, and Vinnytsia Oblast, light showers will sprinkle the dust, leaves, flowers, trees, and our noses,” noted Natalka Didenko in her forecast.
Light rain is also expected in Kyiv on April 16, but it won’t prevent the weather from warming up.
Temperatures in the capital will rise to 16–17 degrees Celsius, making for a fairly mild day despite possible cloudiness.
According to meteorologist Igor Kibalchich, the weather will remain unstable through the end of the week.
On Saturday, April 18, most of Ukraine will see a break from precipitation, though the southern regions and Crimea will experience rain.
On Wednesday, April 15, the weather in Ukraine will be determined by the Quirin high-pressure system, which will bring mostly sunny and dry conditions to most regions.
