The SBU has charged two suspects in connection with the terrorist attack in Brovary
Two young men who, acting on instructions from Russian intelligence agencies, carried out an explosion near a private home in Brovary on the evening of April 13 face up to 12 years in prison.
This was reported by the National Police.


Among those detained are a 23-year-old resident of Brovary, who carried out the attack, and a 17-year-old organizer from the Chernivtsi region. The suspects acted on the promise of monetary compensation from hostile handlers, planting an explosive device and setting up a video surveillance system via a mobile phone.
During searches, authorities seized explosive components, electric detonators, phones, and SIM cards from the suspects. Both have been formally charged under the article regarding the commission of a terrorist act by a group of individuals acting in concert.
The suspects face imprisonment for a term of seven to 12 years. Security services continue their work to identify other possible members of the Russian sabotage network in the Kyiv region.
