The Transcarpathian Police have released details about the student who opened fire

The teenager who opened fire at a school in Zakarpattia is described there as a calm and kind child who had previously shown no signs of aggression or bullying.

This was reported in a comment by Transcarpathian Police Spokesperson Hanna Dan, according to Ukrinform. Currently, the ninth-grader has not explained the motives behind his actions, which came as a surprise to teachers and students.

The boy comes from a large family that has never come to the attention of law enforcement and has no criminal record. Police are currently determining the origin of the toy gun and how the weapon ended up at the school. Prior to the incident, the child did not exhibit any suspicious behavior and had no conflicts with the teaching staff.

Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident that has shaken the region. Experts are examining the teenager’s social connections and upbringing to understand the causes of the sudden aggression. Unlike cases in Russia, where such incidents follow a different pattern, Transcarpathian law enforcement officials emphasize the absence of prior signs of behavioral issues in the student.

In Transcarpathia, police are locating the parents of the ninth-grader who opened fire at school and wounded another student. According to law enforcement, the teenager is currently refusing to engage with psychologists.

According to police, the ninth-grade student pulled out a gun during class and fired two shots, one of which wounded his classmate. After the incident, the minor fled but was later apprehended by law enforcement.
