The Polish opposition is proposing to deport Ukrainian men of draft age
The opposition party “Law and Justice” (PiS) has proposed deporting Ukrainian men of draft age who are not working legally in Poland.
Party representative Tobiasz Bochenowski put forward this initiative. According to him, the proposal applies only to those Ukrainian citizens who do not have official employment. PiS is also proposing to create special deportation centers to expedite these procedures.
The party claims that returning Ukrainian men to their homeland will allegedly contribute to a quicker end to the war and strengthen security in Central and Eastern Europe.
At present, this is merely an initiative by an opposition political party. It is not a decision by the Polish government and does not have the status of a law in force or a government bill.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław is monitoring reports of an attack on three Ukrainian citizens in the town of Kozhukhiv, Lubusz Voivodeship, Poland. Polish law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident and its possible motives.
On the evening of August 1, in the town of Kozhukhiv (Lubusz Voivodeship), three Ukrainian citizens—37-year-old Volodymyr, 32-year-old Vasyl, and 28-year-old Adelina—were attacked. The incident took place on the private grounds of the hostel where the victims were staying.
