Officials from Zaporizhzhia declared an apartment and a car at an undervalued price

The family of Iryna Pazynich, head of a department at the Zaporizhzhia City Council, and her husband, Ivan Pazynich, an employee of JSC “Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, declared their assets in 2025 at prices significantly below market value.

In particular, an apartment in Truskavets with an area of 65 m², purchased in February 2025, was valued at 1.8 million hryvnias, although the actual market value of housing in this complex started at 2.9 million hryvnias.

A 2018 Volkswagen Arteon registered in her husband’s name was listed in the declaration at 40,000 hryvnias (about 1,000 dollars), while the market price for such a model starts at 870,000 hryvnias. The previous owner of the car, which had been purchased at an auction in the U.S. for $10,000, turned out to be Kakao Ukraine LLC, where Ivan Pazinich served as director until 2014. In addition to these new purchases, the couple—both former law enforcement officers—own several more apartments, houses, plots of land, and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
