The President of Honduras has shown interest in Ukrainian agricultural technologies

During a joint press conference in Kyiv, Honduran President Nasri Asfura stated that Ukraine possesses extremely important ideas and technologies in the agricultural sector that could be beneficial to his country and help address food security issues. 

The central topics of the talks between the leaders of the two countries were strengthening bilateral cooperation, introducing innovations in agriculture, and mutual support on the international stage. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine’s readiness to share its experience and best practices in the field of digitalization, which the country actively developed during the full-scale war with Russia.

The Ukrainian leader identified the transfer of modern drone technologies as a particularly promising area of partnership, noting that unmanned systems are used not only as weapons but also to ensure security, protect coastlines, and gather critical intelligence. During his first official visit to Ukraine, Nasri Asfour also paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian soldiers at the Wall of Remembrance at St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral and expressed his solidarity with the Ukrainian people. In addition, the Latin American leader promised to soon share his personal impressions of what he saw in Kyiv during his upcoming meeting with the Pope at the Vatican.

During his visit to Kyiv, Honduran President Nasri Asfour expressed his support for Ukraine and called every Ukrainian a hero in the struggle for freedom and democracy. He also expressed interest in cooperation in agricultural technologies and drone production.
