The SBU has released the results of its special forces' operations for May
For the third consecutive month, the Security Service of Ukraine’s Special Operations Center “A” has topped the ranking of Defense Forces units in terms of the number of enemy targets destroyed and neutralized. This was reported by the SBU upon releasing the results of the special forces’ operations for May. According to the agency, over the course of the month, the unit’s fighters inflicted significant losses on Russian troops. In particular, more than 8,000 occupiers were neutralized, and thousands of enemy vehicles and weapons were destroyed.
According to the agency, these high results were achieved through intensive combat operations, the effective use of unmanned aerial systems, and the precise destruction of priority enemy targets.
According to verified data from the relevant CSO unit, in May, “Alpha” soldiers neutralized over 8,000 Russian occupiers.
In addition to casualties, the Russian army suffered significant losses in equipment and military infrastructure.
In particular, the unit destroyed:
- 5,535 drones of various types;
- 2,807 vehicles;
- 2,214 antennas and communication nodes;
- 1,781 fortifications and engineering structures;
- 123 ammunition and military supply depots;
- 101 artillery systems and self-propelled artillery units;
- 62 armored vehicles, including 15 tanks and 47 armored fighting vehicles;
- 35 air defense systems;
- 23 radar stations;
- 22 watercraft;
- 11 multiple launch rocket systems.
By the end of May, the SBU’s “Alfa” special forces had neutralized over 8,000 occupiers.
In addition, the enemy suffered significant losses in equipment, weapons, and military infrastructure. Targets destroyed:

Acting Head of the SBU Yevhen Khmara stated that these results were made possible by the high level of training among personnel and the effective use of modern technologies on the battlefield.
“These combat results are a testament to the high level of training of our soldiers, their discipline, and their ability to operate effectively in modern warfare. Behind every figure lies the daily coordinated work of the SBU’s ‘Alpha’ team, which inflicts significant losses on the enemy. We constantly demonstrate that professionalism, technological superiority, and determination allow us to successfully counter the enemy regardless of its numbers and available resources,” Khmara noted.
