There are children among the victims; here is what is known about the condition of those involved in the traffic accident in the Odesa region

Following a fatal accident on the Kyiv–Odesa highway, medical personnel continue to treat the victims. A teenager was killed in the crash, and 10 other people were injured.

The accident occurred on July 9 near the village of Oday in the Odesa region. Traffic heading toward Odesa remains partially restricted, and law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

“Unfortunately, a 15-year-old boy died as a result of the accident. All those injured have been hospitalized. Doctors are fighting to save their lives and providing all necessary care. My sincere condolences go out to the family and loved ones of the deceased. I wish the victims a speedy recovery,” the statement reads.

Kipper emphasized that all emergency services are working at the scene of the accident. Law enforcement officials are investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.

“Traffic heading toward Odesa is partially restricted. I ask drivers to be careful and take this information into account when planning their routes. Stay safe! Follow traffic rules and do not neglect your own safety,” emphasized the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

Later, Kipper added that 10 people were injured and hospitalized. Among the victims, three are in serious condition and seven are in moderate condition.
