Stilman stated that he had visited Mindich's apartment about 15 times

Denis Shtilerman, a co-owner of Fire Point, stated that he had met with Timur Mindich about 15 times at his apartment during negotiations regarding Mindich’s potential entry into the business.

He reported this during a meeting of the temporary investigative commission.

According to Shtilerman, the last such meeting took place in late August 2025. He explained that Mindich had attempted to acquire a 50% stake in Fire Point at a 20% discount.

Stilerman noted that the company was valued at $2.45 billion in the UAE, so the potential deal was worth approximately $1 billion.

“He realized he was looking at a billion dollars. I knew he didn’t have that kind of money. He said he would assemble a pool of investors,” said the company’s co-owner.

According to him, negotiations lasted about a year, and Mindich’s initial offer was $100 million, but Fire Point’s owners rejected it.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Corruption Center claims that Fire Point co-owner Denis Shtilerman attempted to regain his Russian citizenship in the 2010s. According to the organization, this information is contained in a 2018 ruling by the Russian Constitutional Court. In the document, Shtilerman appears under the surname Danilov, under which he previously lived and conducted business in Russia.

Aviation engineer and drone specialist Yuri Kasyanov, while testifying at a meeting of the temporary investigative commission, called FirePoint’s claim to produce 7,000 ballistic missiles per year a technical absurdity.
