Forecasters predict a drop in temperatures on May 23–24
Over the weekend, May 23 and 24, weather conditions in Ukraine will undergo significant changes as temperatures drop and the intense heat subsides.
As the heat waves subside, most regions will see an end to the thunderstorms that prevailed the day before.
By the end of the week, moderate precipitation and occasional thunderstorms will persist only in the southern and southeastern regions of the country.
Comfortable and dry weather will prevail in Ukraine’s capital this weekend. Residents and visitors to Kyiv will see variable cloud cover on Saturday, with temperatures ranging from 15°F at night to 24°F during the day.
On Sunday, nighttime temperatures will drop to 13°C, but daytime temperatures will rise to 24°C.
Western regional centers will see stable weather conditions over the weekend. In Lviv and Lutsk, variable cloud cover is expected throughout Saturday and Sunday, with nighttime temperatures around “+10°” and daytime highs up to “+25°.”
Residents of Vinnytsia will also enjoy pleasant conditions, with temperatures ranging from “+14°” to “+25°” on Saturday and from “+12°” to “+25°” the following day.
Over the weekend, May 23 and 24, the weather in Ukraine will change. Temperatures will drop; the 30-degree heat will be gone, and along with the high temperatures, precipitation will also disappear.
By the end of the week, rain and thunderstorms will remain only in the south and southeast.
The southern and eastern regions will still be under the influence of rainy atmospheric fronts. In Odesa, Saturday will bring rain and a daytime high of “+28°,” which will drop to “+25°” on Sunday during a stronger thunderstorm.
A similar situation is forecast for Kharkiv and Dnipro, where precipitation is expected, and daytime highs will range from 25°C to 29°C.
In Crimea and the Donbas, the weather will be unstable, accompanied by local downpours. Simferopol, Kramatorsk, and Severodonetsk will be in a zone of rain and thunderstorms, where daytime temperatures will range from 24°C to 30°C.
The exception will be Mariupol, where clear and cloudless weather is expected on both days, with temperatures reaching up to “+28°.”
Today, May 22, cloudy weather with some sunny breaks, along with rain and thunderstorms in some areas, is forecast for Ukraine.
