A woman from Ternopil met Daniel Radcliffe in the U.S.; the actor expressed his support for Ukraine
Diana Pasko, a Ukrainian woman from Ternopil, met renowned British actor Daniel Radcliffe—who played the lead role in the Harry Potter films—during a trip to the United States. The star not only agreed to take a photo with her but also expressed his sincere support for Ukraine.

The story gained attention after singer Jamala posted a call for her followers to share positive news. “My soul needs some good news. Share what you’ve heard or seen—Rudynsky, Dua Lipa, anyone else?” she wrote.
In response, Diana Pasko shared her story of meeting the actor. According to her, Redcliffe came across as a very sincere and open person.
“He’s incredible! So kind, sincere, and down-to-earth all at once! A childhood dream come true!” the girl wrote.
The actor took a photo with the Ukrainian woman and signed a postcard for her. He also signed a popular Ukrainian brand featuring a warship. When Redcliffe found out she was from Ukraine, he immediately asked how she was doing.
“I met Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Draco (Tom Felton) the other day. As soon as Daniel heard I was from Ukraine, he came right over, took my hand, and asked how I was doing. You could see compassion and support in his eyes, and he signed a Ukrainian stamp featuring a warship!! The best actor since I was a kid!” she shared.
The Ukrainian woman also said she saw another actor from the Harry Potter movies—Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy—but they didn’t get to talk for long.
“He rushed by quickly, signed a couple of autographs, but was in a hurry to get home to walk and feed his dog,” Diana noted.
In the comments, users were happy that famous actors support Ukraine and recalled their favorite quotes from the movies.
