After prices fell in early summer, the Ukrainian market faced a sharp rise in gasoline and diesel prices in late July. In August, the price increase gave way to stabilization, and wholesale prices for diesel began to decline.
Experts note that the retail market reacts to changes in wholesale prices with a certain delay.
“Prices rise quickly but ease much more slowly,” explained expert Mykhailo Gonchar.
On September 25, fuel prices at Ukrainian gas stations changed after a lull. Diesel prices at two chains exceeded 100 UAH per liter, while one chain lowered its gasoline prices.
As a reminder, diesel prices have once again surpassed the critical threshold of 100 UAH per liter.
Egg prices have also risen sharply in Ukrainian supermarkets.
Meanwhile, buckwheat prices in Ukraine may rise due to a reduction in planting areas.
