Fuel Prices in Ukraine on 18 March: A-95 Gasoline and Diesel Rise
As of 18 March 2026, major fuel station networks in Ukraine adjusted their prices. The average cost of A-95 gasoline is approximately UAH 70.33 per litre, while diesel fuel averages UAH 78.68 per litre.
Across Ukrainian fuel stations, A-92 and A-95 gasoline, as well as auto gas, increased by roughly UAH 1 per litre. Diesel prices mostly rose, with some networks reporting hikes of up to UAH 2 per litre. A-95+ gasoline decreased by about UAH 2 per litre in only one network, while prices in other networks either remained unchanged or increased.
The most expensive A-95 gasoline and diesel are offered by the Oкko, WOG, and Socar networks, whereas the cheapest fuel is available at BRSM-Nafta stations.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine explained that prices for light petroleum products are not subject to state regulation. The Ukrainian fuel market depends entirely on imports, and fluctuations in global oil prices are directly reflected in consumer fuel costs. The committee noted that the rise in fuel prices reflects a broader Europe-wide trend and announced it would review the situation on the domestic market.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that authorities will seek to curb further fuel price increases. “The government has agreed with Naftogaz and Ukrnafta to help restrain gasoline price growth for Ukrainians,” he said.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced that citizens will be able to receive a state cashback when purchasing fuel at filling stations. In addition, the government plans to stabilize the market through stricter control of price markups and by utilizing state resources.
It is also noted that diesel prices could rise to UAH 80 per litre as early as this week.
For comparison, as of 10 March 2026, major Ukrainian fuel networks had not made significant changes to fuel prices.
