Ukraine is considering renaming its regional recruitment and social support centers as "Reserve Offices."
This was announced by Roman Kostenko, a member of parliament and secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and intelligence.
According to him, as part of the mobilization reform, the division of this body’s functions is also being discussed—separating the social component from the conscription function.
At the same time, Kostenko emphasized that this is only a preliminary concept at this stage. Some of the proposed changes have not received support from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On April 21, the Security Service of Ukraine detained military personnel from one of the regional territorial recruitment and social support centers in Odesa.
It is reported that the detention of the TCC representatives took place on Balkivska Street and involved a chase and gunfire.
