An explosion was heard in a residential area in Brovary
On Tuesday, April 14, an explosion occurred in the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region, resulting in one person being injured.
This information was confirmed to Suspilne by the Kyiv Region Police Press Service.
Law enforcement officers responded promptly at the scene and have already detained individuals suspected of involvement in the incident. The epicenter of the explosion was located in a residential neighborhood.
The injured man is currently receiving necessary medical care, and his condition is being assessed.
“The explosion occurred in a residential area. The suspects have already been detained. This is likely a terrorist attack,” police representatives said in a statement to the media.
An investigative team, bomb disposal experts, and employees of the Security Service of Ukraine are working at the scene.
