In Chernivtsi, a man spent five days in a sewer pit without food or water — State Emergency Service
In Chernivtsi, rescue workers rescued a man who, according to him, had spent five days in a sewer pit without food or water.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to the SES, a passerby heard his cries for help and called the rescue team.
It has been preliminarily established that the man, born in 1993, did not notice the missing manhole cover and fell into a sewer pit over three meters deep. He was unable to climb out on his own.
Specialists from the emergency rescue team used special equipment to lift the victim to the surface and handed him over to medical personnel.
The man was hospitalized.
Emergency repairs have been completed at a shopping center in Kyiv damaged by shelling, according to the State Emergency Service.
Two people were killed and 19 others were wounded as a result of a Russian missile strike on the city of Derhachi in the Kharkiv region.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced its intention to carry out “systemic strikes” on Kyiv, claiming that the targets would allegedly be facilities involved in the development, production, and use of Ukrainian drones.
