The State Bureau of Investigation denied that it had transferred data on SBU employees to Russia
The State Bureau of Investigations has denied reports that personal data of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) employees was allegedly transferred to the Russian side. The SBI stated that it has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the disclosure of SBU employees’ personal information.

Telegram channels reported that the State Bureau of Investigations had allegedly transferred the personal data of SBU employees to the Russian side.
“The State Bureau of Investigations did not transfer any data on employees of Ukrainian special services to representatives of the Russian side. The claim that SBI Director Oleksiy Sukhachov allegedly instructed Bureau employees to transfer such data to the Russian side is also untrue.
The dissemination of unsubstantiated and false accusations is a deliberate attempt to discredit the State Bureau of Investigations and its leadership directly,” the statement reads.
At the same time, the statement noted that, regarding the dissemination of personal data of law enforcement officers, the relevant information has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and a pre-trial investigation has been launched.
"Law enforcement officials are identifying the source of the information and who disseminated it, as well as all the circumstances surrounding its disclosure.
The SBI emphasizes: any attempts to use the personal data of Ukrainian law enforcement officers to discredit them, pose a threat to their safety, or transfer information to third parties will be subject to appropriate legal action," the statement concluded.

The DBR did not detain SBU special forces officers for firing on GUR personnel.
