Voting has begun on the "Dii" platform for a new postage stamp to mark Ukraine's Independence Day
The "Diya" app is inviting Ukrainians to vote and choose the design for a new postage stamp in honor of Ukraine's Independence Day.
This year’s postage stamp is dedicated to those who are awaited at home—prisoners of war, those missing in action, and their families. It symbolizes the anticipation of news, a phone call, or a long-awaited reunion with loved ones.
Voting will take place from June 15 to 24. Ukrainians are invited to choose one of seven sketches as part of a contest titled “We Are Waiting!”
This particular design will serve as the basis for the new commemorative stamp.
To participate in the selection, users must:
- open the “Diya” app
- go to the “Polls” section
- select the Independence Day postage stamp poll
- view the sketches and cast their vote
The organizers note that the voting results will not be made public until the winning design is announced, which will serve as the basis for the new stamp.
