Dii has launched an online divorce service
A new service—online divorce—became available in the “Diya” app on September 3. “Diya” announced the launch, noting that users can access the service without having to visit an office in person.
The process consists of a few simple steps:
- one of the spouses submits an application in the “Diya” app;
- the other spouse confirms the application in their app;
- “Diya” automatically verifies the information with the Civil Registry Office.
It is not possible to file for divorce without the consent of both parties.
The marriage will be dissolved one month after the application is filed. If either spouse changes their mind during this time, the application can be withdrawn. This must be done no later than four hours before the video conference.
Previously, getting a divorce required visiting the Civil Registry Office at least twice and submitting paper documents. Now, the entire process takes place online.
If the spouses have minor children together, the divorce, as before, must be finalized through the courts. For those who do not use “Diya,” it is still possible to file an application in person at the Civil Registry Office.

On August 18, PrivatBank experienced technical issues with several of its services. Customers report that they are unable to pay with their cards when making purchases.
