A man was arrested in Kharkiv for an armed attack on a soldier
A suspect stabbed a TCC servicemember on the morning of April 6 in the Industrial District of Kharkiv while the servicemember was presenting his military registration documents.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Police.

While attempting to flee from a TCC mobile unit, a 55-year-old man threw two training grenades at the soldier, fired two shots from an air gun, and stabbed his opponent in the abdomen. After committing the crime, the attacker fled the scene.
Law enforcement officers identified and detained the suspect within three hours. A criminal case has been opened regarding the assault on a public official performing his duties. The suspect faces five to twelve years in prison. Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the incident, while defense forces continue mobilization efforts amid Russian aggression.
According to preliminary reports, a civilian man attacked the soldiers with a knife. As a result of the attack, one of the soldiers sustained a stab wound to the abdomen.
As a reminder, a brazen attack on military personnel from the alert group occurred in Vinnytsia. A man stabbed two representatives of the Territorial Defense Forces.
On March 31, an incident occurred between civilians and soldiers of the alert group in the village of Sosonka, Vinnytsia region.
Earlier, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support launched an internal investigation into the use of a weapon by a soldier.
