Law enforcement officers in Kyiv have apprehended a group of repeat offenders who targeted tobacco kiosks
Two men who specialized in nighttime robberies of cigarette kiosks were apprehended in the capital.
Under the procedural guidance of the Desnianskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, the suspects were officially notified of their status as suspects in a series of thefts.
During their last raid, the offenders caused damages amounting to nearly 300,000 hryvnias.

In total, police found and confiscated 1,944 packs of cigarettes of various brands in the suspects’ vehicle.
One of the detained men already had a serious criminal record. As prosecutors discovered, he had been convicted multiple times for committing similar property crimes.
