An Australian man committed suicide in Lviv by jumping from City Hall
On April 28, at around 8:25 p.m., a 42-year-old Australian citizen jumped from the observation deck of the City Hall tower, leaving behind a suicide note.
This was reported by the Lviv City Council.
According to City Hall, the man climbed the tower on his own. Law enforcement officers are currently at the scene, interviewing witnesses.
“City Hall reported that a suicide note was found on the observation deck. In it, the foreign national apologized for the upcoming mess and urged no one to blame him for what he had done,” the statement reads.
In Mykolaiv, a young man died after falling from the roof of the regional administration building, which was destroyed in 2022. Police are preliminarily treating this as a suicide.
