A state registrar in Lviv is set to stand trial over a plot of land worth nearly 22 million hryvnias

An indictment has been filed against a state registrar accused of unlawfully lifting a seizure order on a plot of land, causing the Lviv community to lose land worth nearly 22 million hryvnias.

According to the investigation, the case involves more than 2.7 hectares of land in the nature reserve fund near the western outskirts of Lviv. Despite the existing seizure order imposed by the court, the official unjustifiably lifted it, citing a court ruling related to a different criminal case.

She then registered ownership of the plot in the name of a private company operating in the transportation sector.

The woman is charged with unauthorized alteration of data in the state registry, willful failure to comply with a court ruling, and abuse of authority, which resulted in serious consequences.
