In Lviv, participants in the clash with the TCC apologized and promised to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In Lviv, two participants in the clash who damaged a TCC service vehicle publicly apologized to the military after speaking with veterans. One of them is an active-duty servicemember, while the other promised to join the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces after completing the necessary training.

As it turned out, one of the participants in the riot is an active-duty soldier currently on leave. The other is a Lviv resident who promised to complete training within a month and join the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In the background were the teenagers involved in the conflict, who at the end of the video apologized and promised not to do it again.

According to the veteran, the active participants in the fight at the TCC in Sykhiv were given counseling sessions, and law enforcement will now take over their case. Petrivsky also noted that other participants in the incident, including minors, “voluntarily agreed to come today for a counseling session with the city of Lviv’s veteran community.”

“We’re looking for those who ripped the uniform off the soldier,” added Anton Petrivsky.

“We also found these two hooligans who were so brazenly jumping on the TCC’s vehicles. They admitted their guilt,” said veteran Anton Petrivsky late Thursday evening, July 9, after releasing a video of the incident.

The first participants in the attack on TCC soldiers have been detained in Lviv.

Law enforcement officials continue to identify all participants in the clashes. If their involvement in the attack is proven, they will be held accountable in accordance with current legislation. This was announced by Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the attack on military personnel at the Territorial Recruitment Center in Lviv. The head of state stated that such treatment of people in military uniform is unacceptable, and that all circumstances of the incident must be thoroughly investigated.
