In Lviv, a trolleybus driver saved his passengers after spotting a grenade
On July 3, a grenade was discovered on the roadway on Zelena Street in Lviv. The driver of trolleybus No. 24 spotted the dangerous object in time, stopped the vehicle, and quickly evacuated the passengers before emergency services arrived.
This was reported by Mayor Andriy Sadovyi. Law enforcement officers are on the scene. The grenade will be removed and defused by bomb disposal experts. Investigators are looking into how the explosive ended up in the middle of the road.
Traffic in this area has not been blocked. Police are directing traffic and allowing vehicles to pass. Fortunately, no one was injured, Sadovyi noted on Telegram.
